 My grandfather started my passion for gardening at the age of ten when he had shown me how to till the soil of my first vegetable garden. From that time, my desire to learn about plants, gardens, and the designed environment has grown tremendously. With twenty-nine years of gardening and landscape experience, I, Principal Designer, Shawn Dasans hold a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Degree from Syracuse University and an Associate in Landscape Development Degree from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. During which time, I had five months of studies throughout Europe, with an emphasis on historic landscape preservation.
Professionally I have had sixteen years of business management of both interior and exterior design companies. Over the past eight years I have been involved as assistant manager of Seasons Four garden center and outdoor living store. I have worked closely with homeowners, interior decorators, and landscape professionals to perfect outdoor living spaces throughout New England.
These past experiences have given me an understanding of how enriching outdoor livng spaces can be for everyone, and has helped me become a quality Garden Merchant.
